The person behind the code

I started in software through quality assurance, which means I learned the hard way that the difference between working software and reliable software is almost entirely about what you check before you ship. That background shapes how I approach every engagement.

I spent years breaking things deliberately before I started building them. That changes what you notice in a codebase.

I work with Shopify merchants who have real complexity: multiple storefronts, wholesale operations, deep integrations, and performance requirements that generic developers can't meet. My practice is intentionally narrow because depth is more valuable than breadth in this work.

I use automation and AI in my own practice the same way I recommend them to clients: to remove repetitive work, sharpen diagnostics, document decisions clearly, and leave more attention for the judgment calls that protect the business.
